Schools in Estonia as Institutional Actors and as a Field of Socialisation
This paper provides a theoretical overview of education as an institution and as a field of socialization. It analyzes the relationships among multicultural education, integration, and civic society. Some of the socializers of the educational field are the formal curriculum, educational media, and the hidden curriculum.
