Teachers' Views of the Nature of Multicultural Literacy and Implications for Preservice Teacher Preparation
Describes a study to investigate teachers' views of multicultural literacy and how it relates to teacher preparation. Analyzes data from three focus groups. Indicates that teachers were most concerned about their own sensitivity to the needs of individual children and ways to differentiate instruction for students from diverse backgrounds. (SG)
